Our Story

Our founder, Terry Mirabella-Moran, started MLC after a successful corporate career during which she held various positions across finance, product development and integrated marketing. Throughout this work, she recognized that her true passion is to help individual business owners achieve their marketing goals and grow.

 

Over the past ten years, MLC has grown from a single-person company to a team of over 15 professionals who share this desire to be instrumental in the success of others. We enjoy working, learning and growing together.

Terry blends a keen focus on customer engagement with a vivid imagination. She specializes in creating integrated marketing communication plans to increase brand awareness and lead generation.

 

Through profitably launching over 40 medical devices, Terry refined her process for product management and marketing. She now specializes in Marketing Communications. As a founding partner of The Medical Marketing Boutique,  Terry’s skills are combined with Market Research and Clinical Marketing expertise to provide full-service support.

After earning a B.S. Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1984, John worked with organizations across a wide range of industries—which led him to entrepreneurship. With more than 13 years as a successful small business owner, John is obsessed with innovative marketing.

 

As Product Manager, John manages the execution of all company projects while ensuring we meet all deadlines. His goal is simple: Create Seamless Results. John is originally from New England but has lived in Charleston, SC for over 40 years. He loves the city's rich history and culture.

Having honed her creative design skills in both print and digital media, Michele's expertise extends to the creation of mobile apps, infographics, branding & identity design systems, along with print and digital advertising collateral.

 

Michele thrives on creating products and experiences that are imaginative, useful and contemporary. With more than 25 years of experience, she understands design's crucial role in storytelling, informing, or simply inspiring delight. She revels in any challenge to achieve design solutions that are resourceful and elegant.

Michele Lee McMullen

Dawn worked in marketing and promotion with some of the largest radio stations on the West Coast before venturing into television sales with CBS Las Vegas. In 2002, she achieved a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship by founding Promotional Products Unlimited. She served as CEO of this thriving ad specialty company for over 16 years.

 

After taking a fun family sabbatical with her husband to follow their two sons across the country alongside their travel sports teams, she brought her expertise to us as Social Media and Ad Specialty Manager.

Vicky's 30+ years of experience include positions as a Notary for the state of South Carolina and longtime Office Manager for a Fortune 500 company. In these roles, she supported upper-level management, assisted with patent filings, created internal newsletters and helped with participant recruitment for focus groups.

 

Vicky's skills and knowledge now keep our office running smoothly. In her spare time, Vicky is an avid reader. She loves to travel, spend time with her children and grandchildren, and cheer on University of South Carolina Football—Go Cocks!

Mary Jo brings over 20 years of Marketing experience to MLC Experts from both the corporate and agency sides of marketing.

 

Originally from the NY/NJ area, MaryJo headed south for college and post college life. She is a Clemson Tiger and earned her MBA from Mercer University. After working for corporate brands in Atlanta and Arlington VA, in various marketing roles, she settled down with her husband to raise two daughters in Mount Pleasant, SC.

 

On the medical device side, Mary Jo has worked for global companies such as Hill-Rom and Belimed in product marketing and brand communications. On the agency side, she’s supported both global and smaller growing medical device clients with managing integrated marketing strategies, with a focus on content development, trade show planning and execution, digital marketing, and brand refresh initiatives.

 

Her passion is building strong client relationships with clients and coworkers, and meeting and exceeding client’s objectives. 

                                                                                      

Outside of the office, Mary Jo enjoys being a track and orchestra mom, and taking her perpetual toddler and “Fire House” dog, Chester on the trails.
